Liam is a graduate engineer with academic experience in mechanical and robotics engineering.

Before joining PrOXisense, Liam worked with RACE (UKAEA) during academic breaks providing support to autonomous maintenance trials for potential use in fusion power stations.

His past projects include research into soft tactile sensing of non-uniform surfaces using computer vision techniques and the design of more efficient pneumatic artificial muscles, which earned the public and business choice award at the Brookes Tech Show 2018.

Liam has a BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree from Oxford Brookes University, a composite MSc in Robotics from the University of Bristol and the Bristol Robotics Lab, the most comprehensive multi-disciplinary robotics research centre in the UK.

He is also a member of the IMechE (AMIMechE) and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
