Adam is the Head of Investments & New Ventures at Oxford University Innovation, a wholly owned subsidiary company of the University of Oxford and is responsible for a spinout portfolio of over 130 companies. He liaises with early stage investors through the Oxford Angel Network, investing in new technologies through Oxford University Innovation’s Proof of Concept funds and advising on the Parkwalk Oxford Innovation Fund I, II and III.

Adam’s specialties are clean energy, clean technology, engineering, software and consultancy services ventures. He has been supporting early stage businesses since 2000 and as well as venture capital investment, his experiences include portfolio management for both private and public sector supported funds.

Prior to OUI, Adam was a Partner in the cleantech focused venture capital fund manager 350 Investment Partners LLP and held roles with The Carbon Trust, 3i Group plc and Shell Exploration.

Adam has an MA (Hons) in Natural Sciences-Geology and a PgDip in Computer Science from Queens’s College, Cambridge University
