PrOXisense is a spin out from The University of Oxford

PrOXisense is an innovative technology company, founded in 2014 at the heart of Oxford’s entrepreneurial hub and innovation ecosystem and capitalising on the university city’s heritage in research and science. With funding in place from 2016, we now partner with global engineering companies and pharmaceutical organisations.

From spin out to growth

Our rapidly growing team is based in the UK’s innovation hub at Harwell science and technology campus near Oxford.  Prestigious clients across the world are utilising our world-class sensing solutions and data analysis to optimise their equipment performance.

Established client portfolio

PrOXisense counts companies such as Rolls Royce, Alstom, BP and Health Systems Research Institute in Thailand amongst its clients, providing customised solutions and advice to optimise the efficiency and lifespan of high value assets through intelligent and predictive maintenance. 2014
Our story starts with The University of Oxford
We formed in 2014 as an Oxford University Spinout Company.  Our original mission was to commercialise the measurement and analysis IP and knowhow developed in the Osney Thermofluids Institute, the UK’s premier thermo-fluid laboratory.

2016
